Apex Legends Grand Soir?e arcade event announced, begins January 14th

Respawn has revealed a brand new event that will be coming to Apex Legends next week, and it is titled the Grand Soirée. Players will be able to partake while wearing their ‘formal’ skins and over the two weeks this event runs there will be seven different modes rotated. The modes will change every two days. Watch the trailer below and following that you’ll be able to see exactly what modes are running and when. January 14th – Gold Rush Duos January 16th – Live.Die.Live January 18th – Third Person Mode January 20th – Always Be Closing January 22nd – Armed and Dangerous on World’s Edge January 24th – Kings Canyon After Dark January 26th – Dummies Big Day Every mode will have three challenges which will reward a total of 1000 points per mode. These points will lead to unlocking specific rewards. There will be a time when players can earn bonus points at that will be on the weekend of Friday, 17th January to  Monday, 20th January with a start and finish time of 6 PM GMT. If there are particular awards you want there will be an event-specific shop where six new legendary skins and Art Deco cosmetics will be priced at $5. These items can also be found in Apex packs or crafted. On January 25th the first Apex Legends Global Series esports event will begin.
