Astral Chain - Announcement Trailer - Nintendo Switch

For me, this was easily the highlight of the February Nintendo Direct. There is an absolute dream team behind this game. You have PlatinumGames, who have made such beloved games as Bayonetta, Wonderful 101, Okami, and more. And they're teaming up with staff from Nier Automata. Not to mention some help from the ZETMAN anime people.

This looks like it's going to be some amazingly fun, fast paced curayzee game play with an interesting story.

Personally, I'm loving everything going on in this trailer. The graphics and art look fantastic, with a mild anime look to it with some good sci-fi. The music is seriously good, it gets me hyped for some crazy combos in game.

The battle system is limited in how much they show, but there appears to be a two user mechanic, maybe we'll even get lucky and get a two player coop? That would be a lot of fun! You can see something similar to Witch Time from Bayonetta, where time slows down for the enemy and you get time to make some huge attacks.

There's also hints that you get some sort of robot companions.

Some more hints are dropped with physics puzzles in the world too.

This is definitely the strongest looking game from the entire direct, and it looks awesome.
