Battlefield V - Official Single Player Trailer

Not that anyone usually cares about Battlefield's single player mode, but there's a new trailer. It's filled with plenty of the complaints that most gamers had about the game previously. I remember DICE and EA saying they were going to tone it down. But it seems like they haven't, they're instead just going to focus on other fronts besides Europe. Which is great, just the part of WW2 I want to play!The French who got dominated and ran away to Africa while the big boy countries were fighting the real war. :^)

Looks like a terrible place to have the story. I know the whole evil Nazi thing is pretty overdone, but it's the most interesting part of the war. It looks like EA and DICE are going to try and focus on the less popular parts of WW2, like the African front, smaller female units, etc. And I think there's a good reason why those stories aren't often told, they're not as interesting as the main part of WW2. They have an interesting novelty to them, as it's not what people are used to hearing. However, I can't see it being as engaging or interesting as the main part of WW2. Not to mention the really cynical part of me is saying EA is just trying to justify adding diversity to their game by focusing on other fronts of WW2.

I wonder how many girl gamers will be buying Battlefield V because the main story now includes a female. Are you a female and will this be your first Battlefield game because of the story? I'd love to know.
