The loser is the first person to get hit five times, is given the penalty, and sent to the penalty box , creating a power play opportunity of 5-on-4 skaters. If the score is tied at the end of the game, a shoot out is used to determine the winner. There are a total of eight teams , each one representing a city that housed a NHL team at the time of development.
