Multiple Endings

Much like chrono trigger, chrono cross offers multiple endings. After you beat the game, you get New Game+ and Continue+, which lets you start the game with items from when you previously beat the game, as well as your levels and elements. Then, you can beat the final boss with different characters and at different times to unlock different endings. This was one of the coolest things about chrono trigger and it's awesome to see it come back in Chrono Cross.
