Corpse Party: Blood Drive – Scary? No. Intense, thrilling, emotional, and all around amazing? Definitely! (Detailed Review)

There are some ways that Blood Drive comes up short compared to the original and it is far less scary than both the original AND Book of Shadows. It is far superior writing wise to Book of Shadows and does not have a bullshit ending unlike the previous two games. It's not perfect, but it's still fantastic!
