According to Kicinski, the tech that is powering Cyberpunk 2077 is very advanced and will take advantage of future, more powerful hardware. Still, we can hope that CD Projekt RED will also push the PC graphics cards to their limits.

Kicinski reconfirmed that the development team aims to deliver a huge story-driven single-player role-playing game that will not feature any microtransactions or hidden payments.

This is some really great news. I hate microtransactions, they ruin the game and they almost always end up pay to win, even if the developer say they won't.

Knowing that Cyberpunk 2077 will be pushing hardware is a really good sign that Cyberpunk 2077 will look absolutely gorgeous. We need some modern video games that are really impressive with graphics, it feels like we haven't had a Crysis moment in video game graphics in a long time. Hopefully this is a sign that Cyberpunk 2077 will be pushing the graphics boundary very far.
