Fortnite Switch Motion Controls Are Broken & Nothing Like Splatoon 2
Fortnite's Motion Controls aren't beyond saving, but there's not much point in using them as they are right now.
Too bad, I was really optimistic about this but I really have to agree. There's a lot of potential with motion controls in shooting games with a controller. However, it sounds like it's one of those things that developers can easily screw up.
NintendoLife tried to make the motion control as close to Splatoon 2's as possible, and it didn't work. He describes it as "painful", and spent a lot of time trying to dial in the settings correctly, and they never got there.
There's supposedly not even a camera reset button at the time, which is horrible. When I play Splatoon 2, I abuse the camera reset button. Maybe these controls work for you, but for me they are no good.
