Xbox Game Pass adds Blinx, Crimson Skies, Flight Simulator & more through the end of July
www.thesixthaxis.comTime to shine the spotlight on a smaller title out today as PQube and FairPlay Studios side scroller Fallen Knight has launched on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X via backwards compatibility. A Nintendo Switch version will launch at a later date. “In Fallen Knight, dive into a futuristic knight’s tale that lets players take on the role of a Knight of the Round Table. Expect a Mega Man-esque challenging experience coupled with a fast-paced sword action gameplay that will punish players for every mistake, and reward generously with every victory,” say PQube. Let’s take a look at the trailer. Looks a bit like Sega arcade classic Strider if you ask me, and that’s no bad thing. The game has four game modes: Casual mode for a relaxing experience to enjoy the story and crisp graphics Normal mode for more of a challenge to become a Fallen Knight legend Galahad’s Path for a rogue-like experience. Boss Rush mode is unlocked after you complete the main story on any difficulty. Challenge yourself by fighting all game bosses back to back! In this mode, Lancelot’s skills will be limited, so you will need to adapt to each battle in order to win! You can play as one of two knights, Lancelot or Galahad, and each of which has a different play mode. Lancelot, the Honourable Knight, has multiple ways to play and multiple endings determined by each action the player takes. You can either kill your enemies or try and be honourable and disarm them. In contrast, Galahad, the Assassin Knight, takes an alternative route through the story and changes the gameplay in to a rogue-like title where you only have one life. Die, and you will be sent all the way back to the first stage and will have to start again! Source: Press releaseÂ
