Massive WW2 shooter Hell Let Loose coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S
www.thesixthaxis.comHardcore World War II FPS, Hell Let Loose, will be making its console debut later this year with a planned release on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This news comes via publisher Team 17’s latest financial report in which they highlighted a number of upcoming releases including a console version of Hell Let Loose and Xbox/Nintendo Switch versions of Worms Rumble which was previously exclusive to PS4, PS5, and PC. Hell Let Loose is developed by Austalian studio Black Matter and originally launched in early access on PC in June 2019. The game has witnessed a series of expansions and updates – right now it’s sitting on a “very positive” Steam rating. It’s easy to see why Hell Let Loose has gained such popularity with its hardcore approach to the genre, featuring to-scale maps, 50 versus 50 player warfare, and persistent multiplayer campaigns that redraw the battle lines after each match. Here’s a quick summary of the game: Fight in the most iconic battles of the Western Front, including Carentan, Omaha Beach and Foy and more. This is combat at a whole new scale….with lumbering tanks dominating the battlefield, crucial supply chains fuelling the frontlines, you are a cog in the machine of colossal combined arms warfare. Hell Let Loose puts you in the chaos of war, complete with deep player-controlled vehicles, a dynamically evolving front line, and crucial unit-focused gameplay that commands the tide of battle. Featuring more than 9 sweeping maps modelled on real reconnaissance images and satellite data, the entire battlefield is divided up into large capture sectors – allowing for emergent and constantly unique gameplay that pits two forces of fifty players in a fight to the death across fields, bridges, forests and towns on an ever-evolving front line. When a sector is captured, it will generate one of three resources for your team, creating a complex meta-game that will influence your team’s march to victory. All we know is that Hell Let Loose will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2021 – there’s no confirmed launch date or release window. Hopefully we’ll hear more about how to access the games on console and any upcoming beta news soon. Source: Gematsu
