There’s a YouTuber out there called Bearly Regal who takes his talents of game making to remake or demake games using platforms like Dreams, Minecraft, and LEGO. He has previously worked on making a Metal Gear Solid remake in Dreams as well as demaking Cyberpunk 2077 within Media Molecule’s title. Now, Bearly Regal has turned his attention to The Last of Us Part II and reimagined what the game could have looked like if it had been released on the PS1. Back in October The Last of Us Part II was delayed from its original February 21st to May 29th due to requiring more time for some much-needed polish. It was also confirmed that The Last of Us Part II would not feature the multiplayer Factions mode, but Naughty Dog did not rule out a Last of Us multiplayer function coming back in some form. Then a couple of weeks back there was a job listing posted by Naughty Dog that began speculation a PC port of the PlayStation exclusive is being worked on. That hasn’t been confirmed much like a rumoured PC port of Horizon Zero Dawn hasn’t been confirmed, though it is technically playable on PC through PS Now. For fans of images and artbooks, last week saw the release of some images from a cancelled animated short of The Last of Us. A couple of days back an artbook called The Art of The Last of Us Part II Deluxe Edition which will 200 pages of artwork and developer comments. It is being priced at $89.99 and will be released on June 17th, three weeks after the release of the game. Source: YouTube
