E3 2018 IMPRESSIONS: Little Dragon's Cafe
Yasuhiro Wada is teaming up with Aksys Games for his next major project: Little Dragon's Cafe. Thankfully, at E3, we got to go hands-on with it.
Little Dragon's Cafe looks really interesting. It seems like a nice evolution from earlier simulation games by Yasuhiro Wada. I suggest reading the entire preview for Little Dragon's Cafe, it's a neat little game. It has some problems, but this was a debug build, so that's expected.
One of the interesting things is how there's no combat. You'll have to trick animals you want to use for ingredients into hurting themselves so you can get their meat. It seems like an interesting mechanic that could use some improvement, but it's a cool change from just running out and beating everything to death.
