Marvel's Avengers joins the PlayStation Now line up this month

Sony has announced the next batch of games that will be added to its streaming service PlayStation Now, and it is Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers that leads the charge. Alongside Marvel’s Avengers, Borderlands 3 and The Long Dark will also be added to the service on April 6th. Marvel’s Avengers will only be available until July 5th, while Borderlands 3 stays on the service until September 29th. During a recent Square Enix publisher showcase, we saw a glimpse of the Black Panther: War for Wakanda expansion as well as the Marvels’ Avengers roadmap. It has been confirmed that players will be getting some MCU content in the form of a Red Room takeover later this spring. Coinciding with the upcoming release of Black Widow, there will be new HARM Room challenges as well as hero skins inspired by the blockbuster films. A quick side note on these costumes: they’ll only be available via the marketplace in exchange for credits. There’s been a ton of added content for Borderlands 3, with regular seasonal event, the first Season Pass – which waded in with a string of new campaigns to battle through, including Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption and Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck – and now Season Pass 2, which took a different approach to adding content. Oh, and then there were the free upgrades to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There has also been a lot of casting for the Borderlands movie as well with the likes of Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Haley Bennett all signed on. In our review for The Long Dark, Tuffcub wrote: I really, really, wanted to love The Long Dark, but a myriad of poor design choices and bugs teamed with lacking instruction made it one of the most frustrating games I have ever played. You can pick some objects up, but not others, you can smash a crate to bits for firewood, but not a table, and none of this makes any sense. If you were freezing to death, you’d burn the frigging table! Survival mode is by far the best way to experience the game offering some gorgeous views and a real sense of achievement when you make things nice and cosy, it’s just a shame that Story mode is so poorly thought out.
