Metal Max Xeno Review (PS4) - The Most Addictive Thing You Can Buy For $39.99?

A positive review of Metal Max Xeno, that focuses on the tank customization and the battle system. There's a lot of customization options for your tanks, weapons, chassis, etc. You have to manage your weight and power requirements as well. You also get to customize the appearance. I don't know about you, but this type of thing is awesome and gets addicting for me too.

The battle system is fast paced, even though it's turn based. You won't be waiting around for bars to fill up and for time to go by. If you can play the battle system quickly, you can get through battles quickly. Which, I think is great, because it sounds like there's a lot of parts out there for your tanks you'll want to unlock.

You can also get out of the tank and move on foot, but battles are random and it doesn't really stand out, you're missing your customized tank and all that cool stuff.

The only real thing that seems to be holding back Metal Max Xeno is the budget. The story is a bit short and cliche, and the environments are a bit bare. But this is a lower budget game, and if you're thinking of Metal Max Xeno, you're probably the type of gamer who can tolerate these sorts of things, or you might not even care entirely if the rest of the game makes up for it. However, this was originally a PlayStation Vita game, so some of these things may have been cut back due to trying to make the game work on the PlayStation Vita.

The major saving grace is that the game is only $40 right now.
