Doesn't work on rooted Android phones

If your phone is rooted, miitomo just crashes on start up. I know Nintendo is paranoid about piracy and stuff, but this is ridiculous. I am completely blocked from using their application just because I rooted my phone. And I'm not the only one complaining, this seems to be a very common complaint on the Google Play Store as well.
