Right amount of difficulty, no cheapness
Some games make you feel like you get ripped off when you die, Mr Shifty makes it feel a lot more like you made the mistake. It's challenging to me but it doesn't seem overwhelming. You have lots of check points, so if you get stuck somewhere because it's too hard, you can just keep restarting from the checkpoint without having to go through easier stuff. The challenge is good, it ramps up pretty well after around 30 minutes, and just gets better. Overall, the difficulty is a good level, enough to keep you interested and challenge you, but not the type of difficulty that makes you feel ripped off because of random things going on or things being completely unfair.
