Wildlife generation is pretty bad

Wildlife and life forms are supposed to be procedurally generated. The end result can be something that looks completely illogical and comical. It looks like a bunch of random parts thrown together. What's with that lower jaw? It's huge. Then there's a ton of eyes on top of a little head that fits entirely in the lower jaw. And it has no body, it's like a neck with legs and a giant under bite. They said this game would get bizarre. It's definitely that, but it makes no sense.
