Path of Exile: Harvest is a gardening expansion with a deadly difference
www.thesixthaxis.comWhen it comes to gardening I don’t think many people plant things that could kill them intentionally. It is supposed to be a relaxing hobby. However, Grinding Gear Games likes to experiment and gardening is the next thing the company is looking at in Path of Exile: Harvest. This new expansion allows players to plant seeds in the Sacred Grove and cultivate them by creating tools and set ups that allow for ideal growth. The thing is that plants are not being grown here, but monsters instead. The aim is to grow different monsters, from small time creatures to legendary beasts, and then slaughter them for their life force. This life force can then be used for crafting. Every single enemy killed in the Sacred Grove contributes to this life force crafting so the more creatures you grow and let loose the better your rewards. This crafting method is powerful and unlike anything seen so far in Path of Exile according to the developer. You will need to be prepared to take these monsters on. Alongside the Harvest more improvements will be rolled out including passive skill tree improvements to support gameplay mechanics such as Two-Handed weapons and Rage, as well as more keystone passives including Timeless Jewels. A new Slam skill and support gem has been added while some moves have been recategorised as slams. Brands will be reworked and 12 new items will be added to Path of Exile while 50 others are being reworked. Delirium and Cluster Jewels will be made part of the core Path of Exile experience as well. Back in November, Grinding Gear Games confirmed that it was working on Path of Exile 2 which will 19 new ascendancy classes, a new gem system where support gems are socketed directly into skill gems, and new equipment. All purchased microtransactions from Path of Exile will be compatible with the sequel. A beta for Path of Exile is expected to be released later this year. A Path of Exile mobile spin-off is also in the works and will not feature any pay to win elements. Source: Grinding Gear Games
