Couch multiplayer
The multiplayer with Perfect Dark was always great fun. You can customize the weapons available and choose maps, so you could do things like play with proximity mines only, which only explode when you're near them. It was a big step up from Goldeneye 007 multiplayer, and even added bots. Having bots on Nintendo 64 to play against was such a big deal in the 90s. You could even do things like play vs the bots. The graphics were pretty low on a 4 player battle, and it could only be played split screen. But I spent so many days playing multiplayer with friends, and it never really got old.
