Pokemon GO's leveling system is being rebalanced for the first time since its launch, and the title will also soon feature Pokemon from Generation 6. The rebalancing will give trainers who have reached level 40 a chance to level to level 50, while those who haven't reached level 40 will have an easier time of reaching level 40, and then 50. This is because players will receive a double Catch XP bonus from today to December 31, 2020, so you'll have a month and a half to catch Pokemon and collect some XP.
