Primal Carnage: Genesis was a story-driven, single-player first-person shooter video game under development by Lukewarm Media. Players would assume the role of a survivor amongst the chaos after the animals escape, fighting in and exploring a mix of tropical and man-made environments, teeming with dangerous prehistoric life. It is intended to serve as a prequel to the first game, exploring the origin of the dinosaurs' resurrection and their subsequent escape. Most, if not all, of the dinosaurs seen in the original Primal Carnage are expected to return.
