PS Plus July line up includes NBA 2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and a bonus third game
www.thesixthaxis.comSony has confirmed the line up for July’s PS Plus offerings, and those games are NBA 2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Erica as a bonus third game. The games will be available from July 7th until August 3rd. Today, also marks the 10th anniversary since PS Plus first started back in 2010. To celebrate that anniversary a free theme will be given away for a limited time. There will also be free online multiplayer for those without Plus on July 4th and 5th. Leaving the rotation when the subscription refreshes will be Call of Duty: WWII and Star Wars Battlefront 2. In our review for Rise of the Tomb Raider from 2015, Dave wrote: Rise of the Tomb Raider is an action-packed tour-de-force that, while derivative at times, is a fantastic romp from beginning to end. This sequel learns some of the lessons of its predecessor by making the game more like a recognisable Tomb Raider game, while at the same time implementing some new features and impressive visual design. While not quite the globetrotting adventure some were hoping for, Rise of the Tomb Raider is well worth playing. We reviewed NBA 2K20 but the Switch version and not the PS4 version. Nevertheless, Dom wrote: For Switch-owning sports fans there’s nothing that comes close to NBA 2K20. Boasting great visuals, stellar gameplay and a feature-rich range of play types, there’s something for everyone, and while VC is still a ‘feature’ that we’d rather didn’t have a place in modern sports titles, it’s been balanced back in the favour of actual gameplay. There has been no review for Erica which is an FMV Playlink title, so you will need your phones to play it. Source: PS Blog
