There are a lot of fun tricks you can do in the game. They have a special arena with nothing but jumps and other things for you to hit and launch yourself into the air. The physics engine is pretty decent for its age, you can see the car spinning and flying through the air pretty well. If you hit too hard, you explode.

I played this game so much as a kid, I forgot how much fun it was.
