The Saints Row Reboot is Coming as Soon as February 25th

This looks like a horrible reboot. Saint's Row originally set itself apart from from Grand Theft Auto by being different. Now it looks to be like typical Western AAA stuff. This is not a creative risk in the least. It appears to be the most trite focus group tested product I've ever seen. They had the opportunity to return Saint's Row to its gritty beginnings by focusing on actual gang battles in an urban metropolis. This appears to be a cross between Sunset Overdrive and Just Cause. The style is reminiscent of a Saturday morning cartoon, and the roster of characters exists solely to meet diversity requirements. The only reason it's called Saints Row is for marketing purposes.
I'd believe you if you told me this was a new IP from Ubisoft.
