Main character always telling you what to do

I'm a big fan of PlatinumGames. They usually make games with a lot of action, and it doesn't hold your hand. The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta are perfect examples. I would go back and replay the game two or three times and still discover new ways to defeat enemies and different moves.

But this game, oh dear. The main character is always telling you what's happening and what's going on. Do you really need the game to tell you someone went underwater? You can clearly see it happening. It's just constantly telling you what can hurt you, what to do, etc. Where is the fun?
