Shin Megami Tensei V Western Release Confirmed

+1

Atlus has announced a western release for Shin Megami Tensei V. The game will launch for the Nintendo Switch in western regions, however an actual release window wasn’t confirmed. A new trailer (the same as the October-released Japanese trailer) was released alongside the western localization announcement.

Hopefully the game is properly localized and we don't see it given to someone like NISA who has butchered the Ys localization so badly they had to do it all over again.

Most exciting is the fact that SMT is going to be leaving handheld consoles and I'll be able to play SMT on the couch. Switch is awesome for this and I was always really hoping that we'd see traditionally handheld games like SMT and Pokemon move to the couch, while still being games you can play on the go. This is awesome news and I'm really excited.
