Excellent challenge and difficulty
Snake Pass takes a concept I'm not familiar with, playing as a snake and using the snake's abilities to grab onto things and climb up them, and makes sure you only progress if you understand the core concepts. It's one of those games that you pick up and learn some new stuff, only to come back later and play the first level and realize you've come a long way. It slowly introduces you to new concepts of how to climb things, so you're not overwhelmed, but it makes sure you know those concepts before you can get through the game. In short, it's not one of those games everyone finishes because of difficulty.
The difficulty ramps up pretty quickly, you shouldn't be fooled by the game's graphics. It's quite challenging a bit into the game.
Some advice: use a gamepad, the controls are pretty difficult with the keyboard and mouse, but if you are using a controller that has some sticks and pressure sensitive buttons or triggers, it's a lot more enjoyable without making it too much easier.
