Splatoon 2 Hackers Are Forcing Unreleased Content Onto Other Players

+1

Splatoon 2 definitely has a hacker problem. Sometimes it's to boost weapon speed, other times it's something worse.

The latest hack for Splatoon 2 has hackers letting you access levels that haven't been released yet when you play against them online. I don't think this is as bad as hackers changing the game, but this is still awful. Mostly, it shows that unreleased content is already downloaded and a part of the game, everyone is just waiting on Nintendo to properly release it. It also means that hackers can choose their own map before you start a game of Splatoon 2, even if the map isn't in the current rotation.

Splatoon 2 has a definite hacker problem, according to some. I've never encountered one as far as I know, but some people claim the issue is pretty bad. Hopefully Nintendo can start to take this issue a little more seriously going forward.
