Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft under license by Lucasfilm Games. The game takes place during the period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. As the first Star Wars video game to feature a fully open world, the game will feature stealth and open combat, vehicle combat, space combat, and branching dialogue. The game is set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Outlaw scoundrel Kay Vess and her companion Nix "attempt one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen", in a journey across several planets, including familiar ones like Tatooine, Kijimi and Akiva, and never-before seen ones, like the moon of Toshara, which is inspired by the landscape of the Tanzanian savannah. On 13 January 2021, Ubisoft announced that a Star Wars game was in development by Massive Entertainment and under license by Lucasfilm Games. Nikki Foy is the lead writer, and Navid Khavari the narrative director. Gerighty said that the time period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi was selected because his colleagues "are all huge fans of the original trilogy".
