Super Mario Maker 2 - Announcement trailer (Nintendo Switch)

This looks to be a very large improvement over the Wii U Super Mario Maker. The trailer starts with the most requested feature missing from the original, the ability to make slopes. This alone is going to add a lot of possibility.

Placing pipes, moving blocks, etc has been changed, massively. They no longer follow pre-defined paths. You will be able to drag unique paths for all of these any way you like across the map.

Yoshi will be available for use, which is awesome. The "on/off" blocks from Super Mario World show up too.

It seems you'll have the ability to autoscroll certain parts of the map, instead of the entire map.
