Good battle system
The battle system has traditional magical and physical attacks and defense. But, you have a sort of quick time event with every attack you give and receive that either lets you either do more damage or take less damage. Sometimes I find myself bored waiting for attack animations to finish. But you always have to pay attention. The timing for when you press the button to do more damage changes with each weapon you pick up, and defending yourself is different on each enemy or boss you face. So you sort of have to guess and figure out when the right time is. It adds a nice layer of trying to figure things out and making battles a bit more complex.
