The Best Tales Of Berseria Mod

0

Tales of Berseria currently has around 15 texture mods. These mods affect costumes and character appearance. Some great, changing an entire costume, and some are simple as eye color changes. Most of these mods are just cosmetic, though, and don't really improve Tales of Berseria at all. You can find these cosmetic mods at nexus mods ( https://www.nexusmods.com/talesofberseria/?tab=popular+%28all+time%29 )

TBF, Tales Of Berseria Fix Is The PC Mod You're Looking For

Thankfully, Andon "Kaldaien" Coleman has stepped up with a PC mod for Tales of Berseria that is sure to make the game even better. It includes several awesome graphical fixes and improvements for Tales of Berseria in a simple to use mod.

There's a Framerate Limiter, which will help make the game smoother by properly limiting the frame rate.

Nvidia GPU users have access to proper anti-aliasing via supersampling. The current anti-aliasing in Tales of Berseria doesn't actually work. So this is a great way to enjoy Tales of Berseria with less jaggies.

The TBF mod for PC also improves post-processing, mainly because the game handles post processing at the wrong aspect ratio. This mod will fix it.

Shadow resolution can be increased up to 8 times for character shadows and 4 times for environment. This helps reduce, or completely remove, the steps (or jaggies) you see in shadows.

Allows easy modding of game textures and shaders, which you'll need for the cosmetic mods at nexus mods.

You can remap key binds that normally can't be remapped, like arrow keys being used to navigate menu screens.

Gamepad icons are updated if you're playing on the PC and using a PS4 or Xbox One controller. I personally played through Tales of Berseria with a PS3 controller and wish I had the proper button icons.

You can take lossless screenshots that don't have the HUD in them

Various achievement improvements

Ability to add "speed run mode" and increase movement speed.

How To Install Tales Of Berseria Mods (Including the Cosmetic Ones)

You'll need to install the TBF mod before you install any of the fashion and cosmetic mods. These are texture mods and they require TBF to work.

You'll need to manually install TBF, as the installer is currently suffering from a bug that's preventing people from installing the mod. But it's not as difficult as you might think.

1. grab the latest version of the patch from Kaldaien's github at https://github.com/Kaldaien/TBF/releases

2. you'll need the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable. You probably already have this installed, but you should download it and make sure https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53587

3. you'll find your SteamApps folder and extract the 7z file you downloaded into SteamApps/common/Tales of Berseria.

4. Make a copy of default_tbfix.ini called tbfix.ini and copy default_d3d9.ini to d3d9.ini

5. Start your game, you can bring up the mod menu by pressing control + shift + backspace while in the game.

If you're still having problems with installing the TBF mod for Tales of Berseria on PC, you can check out the full thread on Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SpecialK_Mods/discussions/4/2741975115064708377/

TBFix 0.4.5+ Suppoorts ReShade

To use ReShade with TBFix, edit d3d9.ini and add the following lines to the top of the INI file:

[Import.ReShade64]
Architecture=x64
Filename=ReShade64.dll
Role=ThirdParty
When=Lazy

GeDoSaTo can safely be loaded the same way, if you take gedoshim64.dll from wherever it's installed and place it in the TBFix directory. Loading GeDoSaTo that way rather than using AppInit injection is preferable for compatibility with this mod.

    Tales Of Berseria

    Berseria's version is dubbed the "Liberation-LMBS": when in the battle zone, players can freely move around the arena and rotate the camera at will. Souls are dropped by enemies in battle which can be "stolen" to refill the gauge, a mechanic that enemies can also use to steal Souls...
