Memed up Localization

Another game that has been messed up in localization. I can't stand when they take these "liberties" in changing the original game. I don't think these people understand that if you're looking for a Japanese game, you want it to feel Japanese. You don't want Western internet memes and Western jokes.

Internet memes about feels are exactly why I play Japanese games! :^) But seriously, who thinks this is funny or cool? This is cringe inducing at the least.

Alright, apparently we have the Japanese Shounen version of Ned Flanders here.

I'm starting to think Ned Flanders was a key writer for this localization.

Who do they think their target audience is? 12 year olds?

It really breaks my heart to see good games like this ruined by localization. Is it really that hard just to respect the original game and not have to insert your own spin on things?
