Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Update Set for Next Week
In case you haven’t completely exhausted your stay in Alrest already, an update to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is on its way. The update, as described by Tetsuya Takahashi himself, fixes some bugs and makes improvements to the game.
The improvements include:
An easy mode will be added to Tiger! Tiger! When you press the X button, the Skip Travel screen will open the map to your current location. We hope this will make it easier to spot Skip Travel locations and Salvage Points on the map. An additional 1:1 zoom on the mini map will be displayed by pressing the L Stick. This will allow improved visibility of your surroundings and make it easier to check quest locations.
Furthermore, a New Game Plus is being planned as a free update next year. With the New Game Plus, you will be able to assign Pyra and Dromarch to the Merch Group, “those” Blades will join your party, and gain the ability to unlock Level 4 Special for “a certain Blade.” The team also plans on adding more quests and gameplay elements aimed for second playthroughs, and not just the players who purchased the Expansion Pass.
