Zwei: The Arges Adventure Review -- One Charming Adventure

+1

Zwei: The Arges Adventure takes players to the first entry of the Zwei series in a charming adventure staring Pipiro and Pokkle.

Overall takes from the review are that the game is well localized, the music is great, and the game itself is decent, although it's aged somewhat poorly. It is a game first released in 2001, after all. The review also says the game is a little bit weaker in action compared to other Falcom games. Which again, is expected since it's a pretty old game.

I did play the first one to release in the West, which is actually the second game, and it is a fun game. It has a charming story, cool characters, and is overall just enjoyable. It's not overly deep or complicated, but it's still fun.

From this review, it seems like the original game, Zwei The Arges Adventure, is a less good version of the successor. Sounds like it'd be a nice game to pick up on discount or something.

But kudos to XSEED for what appears to be another great localization.
